The Singer Car Club of Queensland.
The club was founded to help owners of Singer Cars to preserve their cars, and provide opportunity’s for owners to run their cars
Singer Motors Ltd of Coventry in England, produced motor vehicles from 1905 until 1970. Independent until 1954 they then joined Humber, Hillman and Sunbeam in the Rootes Group of Companies.
In the 1930’s they were the 3rd largest producer of motor cars in the UK, after Morris and Austin. They gained a wonderful record in the world of Motor Sport. Their overhead camshaft engine produced about 30% more power than the equivalent side valve engine of the competition.
The Club also has an extensive collection of spare parts available to members.
Even if you do not own a Singer, or it is not on the road yet, you will get a friendly welcome in our club.
